Eleventh Hour
At the eleventh hour
You slip away
I try to deny, what I have to say
Walls will never do, for me and you
I see hesitation; in your eyes
You don’t want to tell; I know why
But I’ll be around anyway; to hear your song and play.
I find; your worth to tell the truth
And I you have the courage, to let it out
I’ll sit back, and I’ll try to hear.
A simple handshake, can be seen as lust
But don’t tremble, the warmth of your touch is enough
Just think sweet dreams with a little love on the side; You’ll be fine
But in the morning; if I’m gone
Don’t think of me, as being wrong.
Behind these eyes you cannot check
You don’t see the twisted wreck.
